R.J. Hernández is a Cuban-American writer in NYC.  He graduated from Yale University in 2011 and worked at Vogue, Elle, and W before writing his first novel, An Innocent Fashion. He is a finalist for the 2017 Edmund White Award for Debut Fiction.

Interviews, articles, and reviews of R.J.’s work have appeared in national and international media including: The Washington Post, The Guardian, Huffington Post, Out, People, Elle, Telegraph, and Vanity Fair.
